Hello, everyone have been regular visitor to this site, but have only just become a member, and now looking to relocate to Italy, I have four children so would like information on good areas for a range of ages. Does anyone have experience of international schools.

International schools are usually only in big cities, like Torino, Milano... I operate as an estate agent in piemonte so that is the area I know best.

Would you not consider sending your children to an ½ûÂþÌìÌà school? ½ûÂþÌìÌà schools provide very good education, a bit more classical that here, I would say.

What age are your children? It would be easire to help if I knew which level of education they are at.

Thanks for your reply. My children are aged 17,15,10 and 5.The oldest one has finished school here in uk.Dont have a problem sending youngest to state school, but I am a bit worried about the other two settling into an italian school straight away.We are having diffulty choosing an area to live in because there is so many nice places to choose from.My in-laws are italian so we do have quite alot of knowledge about the way of life, but they are from Campania.

Regards, jane

I see what you mean.
The youngest ones will not have any problems...
You could just make an investement and get your older ones to loose an year. They can go to an italian school knowing they will probably fail their exhams, but will learn perfect italian in a year and they will be ready for the next one.
After all what is a year compared to learning a language?

Another way is to contact the british embassy in Rome and get a list of the international schools in Italy...

Good luck either way!
