Greetings...

Just thought I'd drop by and introduce myself...and let all you Calabrians and descendants of Calabrians know about a big project that's coming up in 2007.

I am one of the founders of .....My daughter, Jesse, who is living in Calabria started the site a couple of years ago. My other daughter, who lives in Perugia, Umbria, is a contributor. I keep the website going from a tech point of view. I'm traveling to Italy in January to help with the work.

Even though we cover all of Italy - and are adding more pages all the time - we have a heavy focus on Calabria and some of the other regions. We think Calabria is the best kept secret in all of Italy - but then, we're biased.

We want to make a contribution to the Region, so we've decided to organize a major event for 2007. We call it "Come Home Calabria 2007". We've just started the effort and we're looking for people who want to help.
