1974 digital radio

Does digital radio work in italy? Are there any english radio stations?

Have seen this discussed previously, have you done a search of forum? Do know that it is possible to pick up English radio stations via the computer, though we prefer to have ½ûÂþÌìÌà radio on. To help with the lingo, hoping some of it will sink in!!

My boyfriend is ½ûÂþÌìÌà so when I am in Italy I hear ½ûÂþÌìÌà or dialect 24 hours a day. (He even talks in his sleep so there really is no escape!!) Sometimes I don't understand the news and want to hear what's happening in English to make sure I properly understand. I know I can use the internet but our dial up is so slow it is really frustrating , hence trying to find an English radio station.
I would also like to listen to ½ûÂþÌìÌà radio stations but the radio reception on FM/AM is poor in my boyfriends village so was wondering if it would be worth taking a digital radio over.:)
