1705 ISDN provider

I have just bought a house - but it does not have a telephone - I am in the process of investigating ISDN as I cannot get ADSL in my area - does anyone have expierience of this - if I buy the standard 19€ a month package from Telecom Italia - do I then need a service provider seperate from that - so far I have only found clic.it - but ISDN packages are very expensive - can I get an American or UK ISDN provider ?

You don't need a separate ISP - just pay your ISDN connection fee, line rental and €24.00 a month for the Teleconomy Internet H24 service (ISDN 24/7 and up to 128k and with unlimited use) to Telecom Italia ([url]http://www.187.it [/url]). Teleconomy doesn't come with email smtp hosting so you'll have to set that up separately - it's just a means of connecting to the internet. Telecom Italia were the cheapest service that I could find - unfortunately.
