you will find that your piece of field is zoned as something or other...eg agricutltural.. or urban.. or for building.... lots of different types of descriptions... if for some strange reson the field has been designated as development land you might well be able to go ahead observing all the rules and regulations as mentioned by sebastiano and most probably at least a dozen others not mentioned..... if its agricultural or in a region of outstanding natural beauty i think you might well find it hard to progress.... there are certain things here which are not too easy to do... we all know the house buying/renovation problems on existing buildings... imagine your procedure from field to commercial enterprise... and as in most things here you will most probably need several licenses to be able to run it.... apart from that as in england consideration is also taken on the roads and access...ie is the road capable of taking an expanded amount of traffic which will include campervans, caravans and delivery trucks... planning permission to erect signs etc directing people to the field ... capabilities of the sewerage mains supplies to be able to cope with summer influx.... it all goes a long way...nut trees might be easier
I'm afraid i'm not able to give you up to date info but you'd be adcvised to get all the available information on the legal requisites and health hygene, fire and safety laws which have to be complied with and they're very strict now since a number of camp sites were wiped out during rains etc.for the rest if the area lends itself could be a good idea.take a look around any camp sites in the area and talk to the owners would be a good start.-good luck
