Woody Allen wants to translate his love for Rome onto the big screen. Allen has announced that he will shoot his next movie in Rome.
Filming is set to start in July, but Allen has yet to release any details about the plot. He did say that he couldn’t wait to spend time with his family in the ‘marvelous city.’
Woody Allen told ½ûÂþÌìÌà newspaper about his choice of film locations: "Every time has been like making declarations of love for certain places and projecting onto the screen my feelings for the places which have counted the most in my life".
"I hope to do the same with Rome."
Allen won’t have to wait until summer to spend time in the ½ûÂþÌìÌà capital. His jazz band is sent to play at Rome’s on 26 March.
Better known as an actor and director, Allen also plays clarinet in a New Orleans-style jazz band. He will bring his American harmonies to Italy for a one-night show, before moving to Rome in July for a longer stay.
