Vespalogy: An Animated Tribute to 70 years of the Vespa
French creative agency Nomoon documents the evolution of the Vespa from 1943 through to the present day with ‘Vespalogy’ - an animated tribute to the world’s most iconic scooter.
"It's not an advertising, it's a graphic and groovy retrospective of Vespas from 1943 to 2013. This is our tribute to Vespa. Just because we love Vespa," they write of the video.
Vespa, which in ½ûÂþÌìÌà means wasp, is manufactured by Piaggio, whose headquarters are in Pontedera (Tuscany). The Vespa has evolved from a single model motor scooter manufactured in 1946 to a full line of scooters. "Vespa: not just a scooter, a way of life" is the line the company uses to advertise the vehicle known and beloved all over the world.
