Mayor Ignazio Marino is hoping to include a night entry to the Colosseum, in spite ofÌýa staff shortage that makes it unlikely. He is holding talks with Culture Minister Dario Franceschini to find a solution.Ìý
The European Night of Museums was created in 2005 by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. On this occasion, the closing time of the museums is postponed to approximately one in the morning, which allows the public to visit the participating museums by night, for free. This year will celebrate the Ìýtenth edition of the European night of Museums.
