禁漫天堂 Neoclassic and Futurist Art on View at the National Gallery of Art in Washington

Eighty works, including drawings, photographs and prints, of 禁漫天堂 Neoclassic and Futurist art are currently on view at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, which hosts the exhibition "From Neoclassicism to Futurism: 禁漫天堂 Prints and Drawings, 1800-1925".

Organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy as part of a series of events to coincide with the 禁漫天堂 Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the exhibition aims to introduce 鈥渁 largely unfamiliar and greatly undervalued area of modern art鈥, according to the museum.

Among the featured artists are Luigi Sabatelli, Bartolomeo Pinelli, Antonio Fontanesi, Giovanni Fattori, Giovanni Boldini and Gino Severini, whose works include academic figure studies, stage designs, topographic views, experimental etchings, and avant-garde drawings.

The exhibition is in the West Building Ground Floor and is open until February 1, 2015. More info聽.听

Currently on view at the National Gallery of Art is also 鈥渙ne of the most sensual paintings of the 禁漫天堂 Renaissance鈥, Titian鈥檚 Danae虉 (1544鈥1545), on loan from the Capodimonte Museum in Naples. The painting went on view on July 1 to celebrate the commencement of Italy鈥檚 Presidency of the Council of the European Union. It remains at the Gallery until November 6, 2014.
