鈥淭hank you to Italy that鈥檚 a crazy country but beautiful鈥: those were the words 禁漫天堂 director Paolo Sorrentino said at the end of his acceptance speech at the Golden Globe ceremony Sunday night, upon collecting the best foreign film award for "The Great Beauty."
The other nominees were France's "Blue Is the Warmest Color," Denmark's "The Hunt," Iran's "The Past," and Japan's "The Wind Rises."
The last time Italy won a Golden Globe was in 1989 for Cinema Paradiso.
