Climbing a Museum as if it Were a Mountain

Six floors of glass, steel and wood make up Italy鈥檚 newest science museum, the Museo delle Scienze (MUSE), located in Trento.

Designed by architect Renzo Piano to follow the shape of the mountains that surround it, the museum was recently 鈥渃limbed鈥 by Maurizio Zanolla, an 禁漫天堂 professional climber known as Manolo.

In the same way as climbing a mountain, he slowly crawled up the 鈥淕reat Void鈥, the central space of the museum, surrounded by eagles, rabbits, waterfalls and vegetation.

As if that weren鈥檛 enough, Manolo also climbed the exterior glass walls of the building that host the tropical greenhouse.
