An 禁漫天堂 man who turned 100 this week is determined to show that his advancing years are no reason to take his aging Fiat 500 off the road.

Giovanni Viglione, who lives in the northern 禁漫天堂 town of Rovereto, has just renewed his driving licence and so is ready to cruise the countryside again in his metallic green motor.

Viglione is an independent spirit who still lives alone. He apparently passed the medical and eyesight tests required for licence renewals without difficulty.

A former technical designer, the veteran motorist keeps busy 40 years after his retirement by taking painting and water colour courses at a local university.

Italy is at the top of EU standings for longevity and has an unusually high number of centenarians.
