Buggerru (Sardinia)

Buggerru is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia. It is a tourist centre, thanks also to the port, overlooked by the exit of the Henry Gallery through which a steam train once travelled, carrying the mineral extracted from the nearby mines, now a tourist attraction. Its coastline is low and sandy, as far as Capo Pecora, the southernmost locality of the Costa Verde (Arbus), and is protected by high dunes. Among the nearby beaches, Cala Domestica is a dreamy gem set between the white limestone cliffs, located in the south, in the middle of the former mining area.

Our recipe of the week is made with "fregula", similar to couscous but with a more toothsome bite. This grain is typical to Sardinia and best serves with a delicious clam sauce.

Flights from Rome to Sardinia

Does anyone know if RyanAir is the only airline that flies from Rome to Sardinia, direct.

Hi, I am starting the process of building a simple minimalist studio space in Sardegna (no interiors walls, no bathroom and just a small kitchen) and I am looking for a good and trustworthy Geometra. I was wondering if anyone here had a good experience and could recommend one.
